ABOUT WIIWT

WHAT IS WIIWT AND WHERE
DID WIIWT COME FROM?

In 1995, I was bragging to a small group from the local church we attended, “I just tackle a project and get it done quickly.”
A pastor then asked me, “What would you do to reach everybody in the city of Columbus?”

I didn’t have an answer. As a 21-year-old, newly-graduated engineer designing cars at Honda, I had no idea how to tackle some church thing that large. My wife, children and I were new to the area.

Honestly, I didn’t want to know how, but it bothered me that I didn’t have an answer. Years went by and we became more involved in church activities with bigger and more influential roles.

My professional career took off and we moved away in 2007. Life got hard as I backed way off of anything church related. 2015 was a miserable year. I lost my way and almost my life. We moved back to Ohio and I proactively restarted my walk with God.

In 2017, I was driving in my car at the 33-270 interchange and I felt God tell me “I want you to share the gospel with the entire city of Columbus.” I felt a focus like I hadn’t in years.

I want to share the gospel with
the entire city of Columbus. "

While reaching 2.4 million people is daunting, we believe it is possible. Leveraging social media, pushing grassroots campaign, partnering with local churches and organizations and trusting God is what will get us there.

WIIWT is the result. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with one mission: to share the gospel message with every resident in the greater Columbus area.

We have no paid staff. All of our work is done by volunteers who believe in the cause and have skills that help us. All money raised goes directly to promoting the message. We give full transparency to our income and expenses.
